Social Media Links

References (links) to social networks are used on this website. This applies to currently existing links as well as any future additions (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).

These are not active social media plugins that transfer data as soon as the page loads. We merely use simple static links. Data exchange with the operators of the social networks only takes place if you actively click on the corresponding link. 8. Plugins and Tools

YouTube

We integrate the video service YouTube on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

When accessing a page with an embedded YouTube video, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google's servers to load the video content. In doing so, technically necessary data (e.g., your IP address, device type, operating system) is transmitted to Google – including to servers in the USA. If you are logged into your YouTube or Google account, Google can assign this visit directly to your profile. To prevent this, you must log out of Google before visiting our website.

  • Purpose of processing: Appealing presentation of our online presence and integration of multimedia video content.
  • Legal basis:
    • Consent: Art. 6(1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG (provided the video is only loaded after your approval in the consent tool).
    • Legitimate interest: Art. 6(1) lit. f GDPR (interest in providing an engaging and multimedia user experience for our visitors).
  • Data transfer to third countries: The transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Further information: Details can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
